Who We Are
Celebrating Resilience, Fostering Empowerment
Black Boy Joy Summit, proudly sponsored by CCM Education Group, is a vibrant celebration of the resilience, brilliance, and potential of young Black and Brown males (ages 12-18) in Greater Boston. Our mission is to empower and inspire through workshops, mentorship, and community engagement.
Welcome to the
Black Boy Joy Universe
The Black Boy Joy Summit is part of a broader ecosystem built to uplift Black boys through experiences, community, and year-round learning.
The Black Boy Joy Universe brings together live gatherings, digital experiences, and an ongoing community — all rooted in joy, belonging, and possibility.
This is more than a single event. It is a connected movement designed to meet families, educators, and advocates where they are and grow with them over time.

SUNDAY CIRCLE
Sunday Circle is a weekly live community space hosted on Instagram Live, created to build connection, trust, and shared understanding over time. This is not a webinar or a workshop. It is a consistent place to show up, listen, reflect, and engage in real conversation around the experiences families and caregivers are navigating right now.
Each Sunday Circle is guided by a focused topic, but remains responsive to the community in the room. Some weeks may include guided reflection or shared dialogue. Other weeks may include live coaching moments or open conversation. The intention is to create rhythm, familiarity, and belonging through consistent gathering.
Where: Instagram Live
When: Sundays at 5:00 PM ET
Starting: January 25
What to expect:
Topic guided conversation rooted in lived experience
Space for listening, reflection, and shared insight
Community dialogue without pressure or preparation
A steady rhythm of connection you can return to each week
WHATSAPP COMMUNITY
The WhatsApp community serves as the connective tissue of the Black Boy Joy Universe. It is a simple, mobile space designed to keep people connected between gatherings, programs, and events.
This space allows families, educators, and advocates to ask questions, share resources, and support one another in real time. It is intentionally accessible and designed to meet people where they are, especially in moments when immediate connection or guidance is needed.
The WhatsApp community complements Black Boy Joy University by supporting day to day connection, conversation, and care beyond scheduled experiences.
MASTERCLASSES
Masterclasses are structured learning experiences designed to support meaningful shifts in mindset, behavior, and practice. Each session focuses on a specific topic and is facilitated in collaboration with trusted educators, leaders, and practitioners.
Unlike Sunday Circle, masterclasses are intentionally designed learning environments. Participants engage in guided instruction, reflection, and application. Each masterclass includes a workbook or resource designed to help participants carry the learning forward beyond the session itself.
Masterclasses are offered periodically throughout the year, with sessions announced as facilitators and dates are confirmed.
Our Commitment to Joy, Identity, and Community
- Community-Centric Approach: At the heart of our mission is a commitment to community engagement and support. Through workshops, mentorship programs, and positive role models, we empower young men to build self-esteem, confidence, and leadership skills.
- Cultural Identity and Pride: We recognize the importance of cultural identity and pride in shaping one's sense of self. By promoting understanding and pride in Black and Brown heritage, we encourage participants to explore and embrace their cultural identities.
